I'm currently sewing a new Tassadar plush! It's about 35 cm tall, and I thought I could make a tutorial by the way :)

This little guy is so cute, and so simple compared to some other plushies I've looked at in prep for making my own for the first time.

If you don't mind, I'm going to base my pattern off of this--well mostly just the legs.

Hey =]. So I know you posted this FOREVER ago, and i'm not sure if you're into plushy making anymore. but I was wondering if you'd try to help me out. Ive gotten into making plushies but mine are pretty flat and this is the first tutorial i've found that explains how to make them less flat. but I don't understand what you mean by tucking.

also I just draw my pattern as the whole body and then just sew all the way around. so i'm not sure if i follow what you mean by making a backline.

Hello! I hope I have used the right word since I'm not a native english speaker, but a "tuck" (perhpas it's dart?) is a little fold of cloth you practically pinch up and then sew it "off" to take the cloth you pinched away - so that in that place there is less cloth and a bent is created.

As for the backline when you look at the Tassadar plush he has a curvy back, if I had just sewn around the whole body without making the mentioned seam (seen in the photo in the middel) along the "spine" it would have been flat :)
